I currently live in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and work for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and own a small consulting company called New Auburn Personal Computer Services. I live with my wife and our beautiful daughter.
In addition to designing web sites and writing small applications, I am currently writing and producing my own music. I play guitar and piano, and am very comfortable using the computer as a production and mixing environment.
All of this takes a back-seat to my family. They are my number-one fans, and I am truly grateful to have them. My wife and step-daughter are the best anyone could ask for, and I am still very close to my mom and dad.

My wife and I recently married, but I couldn't ask for a better partner. She's sharp, sarcastic, and stubborn, just like me, and I love it. Even though I may become frustrated, I still think that there is no one I would rather spend my life with. She's good for me because she's honest with me. She's the perfect one to ask for advice about a project because she doesn't care one way or the other about what I'm working on, so her feedback can always be counted on to be blunt and to-the-point. In other words, she hates everything I do, which means the end results are so much better.

We've been raising my step-daughter for three years. I helped deliver her, so she feels like my own child. I feel very fortunate to have her even though she is constantly trying my patience. I've learned a lot from her though... your whole outlook on life changes when you raise a child. It's fun to teach her things too. Lately she's taken a shine to playing on the computer. She really likes Photoshop and coloring pictures with the stylus and drawing tablet. She spends time with her real father quite often, so it makes it difficult for me to adjust. I believe that it's good for her to know her father, and I know she has to be having just as much trouble adjusting as I do. |
Right now, I'm looking at building up my business and finishing up my album. I have no idea where the future will take me, but I'll take everyone along for the ride if they're willing to come with me.

As I said, I am currently employed by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where I work as an application developer and server administrator. I manage development and production database and web servers, as well as serve as a resource for web application developers. I occasionally teach classes on accessibility and usability for disabled users. In my spare time, I fill various other gaps and assist students with their projects. I also work as an independent consultant, developing web sites and dynamic content for small businesses. I run a small consulting company called New Auburn Personal Computer Services, which I started in 1995. |
