The first day of the rest orf my life
I didn’t get to sleep until four this morning, and that’s just guessing. They came and took Mom away and then we just all sat around talking for quite some time before the tiredness took over. It took me quite a while to fall asleep and I didn’t wake up until Ana came downstairs at about 8:00 this morning.
Ana took the news well, having been previously prepared for this by me, my dad, and my aunt. We just told her that her grandmother went to Heaven last night.
Today was very hard for me as I made various phone calls and spent the day helping out around the house. We cleaned up some stuff for Dad and we went through a lot of pictures. We’ll be putting some of those online on this site in the next few days.
More to follow.

We received the email yesterday and was saddened by the news.As you know it was our privilege to know your mother for many years through many happy family occasions. In searching for information on the web I remembered your website from last we met. Many I am sure, with us, thank you for sharing your experiences and feelings during the last days of your mother’s life.It goes without saying that you and your dad and family are in our prayers during these most difficult days and the days that will follow. May the peace that can only be received through the Holy Spirit be with you and with your Mother as she resides among the Angels in Heaven.
Love and peace be with you,
Uncle Leo and Aunt Jean
