Good (long) Holiday Weekend
Wow… what a weekend. I had two days off of work for the holiday and I’m glad I did. We had everyone over for Thanksgiving Day. Carissa pulled off an awesome turkey. I spent the day peeling potatos, watching Ana, and doing various tasks which did include some cooking.
It was good to see my Aunt Carla. She looks great and she seems really happy.
The rest of the weekend was spent cleaning. Friday morning we put up the Christmas tree and other festive decorations. Friday night, Carissa and I cleaned our place up, and then Saturday we visited my mom. I fixed a problem on Dad’s computer and Carissa cleaned up the kitchen. Ana colored. I did pick up my Lincoln Logs for Ana to play with. We’ll have to see how she does with those.
Today, Dad came up to fix a lamp cord that gave me a pretty good jolt the other day. The evening was full of Simpsons-time, with Ana watching it with me on the computer.
All in all, a good weekend.
