Family Time
I went home this weekend to spend some time with the folks. Dad and I putzed around with iTunes on his computer and I had a nice time visiting with my mom. She’s doing the therapy now and she’s more upbeat. It looks like things might be better than I thought beecause she was told by the people at the cancer center that this is pretty much a chronic disease. So that means she’ll have periods where it will flare up, they’ll treat it, she’ll do fine for awhile, and things will start over again. That sounds bad, but apparently people with this type of lymphoma live for 25 or more years. That’s way better than the 8-10 years we were promised.
Enough of this.. I’m going to bed.
